The cover for my public domain superhero comic "Acceleration".*
When I found about the public domain superhero wiki in 2011, I was awestruck. Some had neat designs, others had interesting characters. I started to scribble story ideas. Now the comic is finished and will update daily.
Some characters are a little or completely redesigned, others are not. Some will play a greater role in the story, others a smaller one.
Please read their entries in the pdsh-wiki. That's required reading and presupposed as given. This comic was written with the undertsanding that the entries are already known to the reader. Your enjoying and understanding of the story will suffer if you don't. Rule of canonicity: everything there is applicable to this comic unless contradicted. Then this material overrules the pdsh entries.

I don't like that many stories with public domain superheroes are set in the time they were originally published, i.e. the 1940ies. These are modern day superheroes.
Captain Prodigy, The Radiant Icosahedron and The Heart of Chaos were created by Michael P. and are available for use by anyone, with only one condition: This paragraph must be included in any publication involving Captain Prodigy, The Radiant Icosahedron and The Heart of Chaos, in order that others may use these properties as they wish. So! Auf gehts zu "Acceleration". Dann habe ich endlich meine Inbox abgearbeitet. 
Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich den Comic jetzt schon einmal gelesen habe. Die Kommentare sind also re-read Kommentare (R) und auch Kommentare zu meinen ersten Eindrücken (E):
(E) Als ich das Cover zum ersten mal sah, dachte ich mir nur: Boah sind das viele! Wie soll ich da nur den Überblick behalten... Ich dachte mir da nur, dass fünf auch ausgereicht hätten, dann hätte ich auch eine Chance gehabt sie auseinander zu halten.
(R) Mittlerweile weiß ich ja welche wichtig sind und kann die daher auch zuordnen. Mein Eindruck im Einzelnen:
Raven: Scheint so ein Magiertyp zu sein und spielt eine Rolle. Er ist auch einigermaßen sympathisch.
Captain Prodigy: Der Hauptcharakter. Hat von allen das coolste Design. Aber ich dachte fast den ganzen Comic, dass Captain Couraigeous Captain Prodigy ist, da er so an Captain America erinnert (keiner hat gesagt, dass er eine müde Kopie ist) und ich hinter "Captain" erlich gesagt keine Frau vermutet hatte. Was natürlcih ein Vorurteil ist, da es keinen sprachlcihen Grund dafür gibt. Jedenfalls: Captain Prodigy: Cool!
Bluebird: Ist mir bewusst im Comic gar nicht aufgefallen, vom Cover her hab ich bluebird aber sehr wichtig gehalten, weil sie den prominentesten Platz auf dem Cover einnimmt.
Airman: siehe Bluebird, aber hier dachte ich nie das Airman wichtig werden würde.
Blue Flame: Spielt ja am Ende eine Rolle, vom Cover her hätte ich jetzt aber an Eis denn an Feuer gedacht.
Black Cat: Ict mir im Comic nicht wirklich aufgefallen und ich möchte bemerken, dass es sich dabei nicht um Black Cat handelt: Hier ist Blac Cat: www.deviantart.com/art/Black-C…
Lady Satan: Spielt eine gewisse Rolle ("Hariet" kommt mir in den Kopf als Name). Der NAme Lady Satan ist aber natürlich für einen Held absurd/ungewöhnlich. Hat auch was, der Charakter. Habe aber erst jetzt - also nach einmal lesen - die Verbindung gezogen, dass Lady Satan eine wichtige Rolle hatte.
Captain Courageous: Habe ihn wie beschrieben ja mit Captain Prodigy verwechselt. Ansonsten zeigt er ja, dass er ein Riesentrotel ist - für den sich niemand interessiert.
Bronze Terror: Hab ich mit Shock Gibson beim lesen verwechselt. Taucht immer mal wieder in den Bilder als Statist auf.
Shock Gibson: Fällt durch seinen unglaublich hässlcihen Helm auf, blieb aber ansonsten blass.
War Nurse: Kommt einem auf dem Cover total unwichtig vor. Sie ist aber die (absolut akzeptierte) Chefin - was richtig cool ist. Der Charakter hat absolut was. Der Name ist aber extrem albern und vom Cover her hätte ich nie gedacht, dass sie wichtig sein könnte.
